Almost Time for Framing!

Things are moving fast at the construction site! Since our last blog update, we have set up plumbing and electrical rough ins and have passed inspections for both. The team also continues to level the site, especially on the east side. The interior slab for the building is being poured and lumber will be delivered next week. Framing will start at the beginning of August!

I recently completed the Director training course through Forest School Teacher Institute and took training on emergency preparedness at child care sites. Learning about all the ways we can build a better, safer program is one of my biggest goals for this calendar year.
